Shimano to continue BMX sponsorship of SA’s World Champion hopeful, Sifiso Nhlapo
Since 2008, Shimano has been a product sponsor of local BMX star Sifiso Nhlapo, and are proud to continue sponsorship for another consecutive year. With the upcoming UCI BMX World Championships to be held in Pietermaritzburg this year, Coolheat are positive that Sifiso will shine locally, on his newly sponsored Shimano equipment. His Shimano equipment includes Shimano’s BMX DXR line-up, which is designed to meet the demands of Olympic prospects and this potential podium winner. Currently ranked 11th in the world, and 4th on the European circuit, we wish Sifiso the best of luck for his new season ahead, & reaching his goal of becoming World Champion at our locally hosted UCI BMX World Champs this year. Sifiso races on a good line-up of Shimano’s DXR equipment, including cranks, brake levers and brakes, and DXR chainrings. These components bring top level design and engineering to BMX racing. Sifiso also chooses Shimano pedals and Shimano DX shoes, the SH-MP66W SPD sneaker, which features an armored lace shield and side panels for extra protection & mid-top ankle protection for more aggressive riding.
